- Are you solving a problem? The most profitable businesses are ones that solve a problem in some way. So, ask your friends and family to see what their problems are and then find out what you can do to help.
- Make sure that people will pay for your products or services. Even if you have the best idea, if no one is willing to spend money on it, it is not going to succeed. You might want to ask around to make sure that people are willing to buy your products or services before you start your business.
- Then, determine how much people will actually pay for your products or services. Not only do they need to pay for it but you need to get enough to make a good profit or it won’t be worth it. You don’t want to give your products away and lose money or you won’t be able to sustain a business.
No matter how much you want to leave your day job, it is important to have a good business plan prior to quitting. You need to make sure that you are going to be able to support yourself and your family by choosing the right business!
